On March 6-7, InnoCosme2025 The 9th China International Cosmetic Technology Forum was held in Shanghai. PROYA’s R&D team was invited to attend the whitening-focused session, where they had in-depth discussions with many medical experts, raw material suppliers and representatives of scientific research institutions on the theme of "Development and Innovation of Whitening Efficacy Products".

At the session, the "Optical 335 & Dual-Degradation Whitening" technology of PROYA was showcased as a breakthrough result in domestic cosmetics. Drawing inspiration from the Nobel Prize-winning theory of cellular autophagy, this achievement has undergone 14 years of innovative research and development, analysis of over 20,000 gene libraries, and more than 50 rounds of scientific experiments for rigorous validation. It has overcome the limitations of traditional whitening ingredients, such as easily turning dark again, being difficult to sustain, and not thoroughly effective, achieving a whitening effect that is non-darkening, non-irritating, and more long-lasting. At present, this achievement has been applied to the "illuminating skin-purifying essence"of the PROYA brand.

It is worth mentioning that the validation of "Optical 335" through over 50 rounds of experiments is underpinned by PROYA’s four pioneering experimental systems: the first domestic human-derived melanosome and cell co-culture model + the first domestic transmission electron microscopy experiment for melanosomes; the first application of immunoprecipitation testing method in the cosmetics field + the first proteinase-tyrosinase colocalization experiment in the cosmetics field. These innovative experimental systems not only provide strong technical support for the development of "Optical 335", but also lay a solid foundation for future scientific research breakthroughs.

From modeling to micro validation and targeting technology breakthroughs, these experiments not only verify the whitening strength of "Optical 335", but also win the recognition of global top academic organizations with their scientific rigor. In 2024, the research results were presented at the 34th International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC), known as the "Olympics" of the cosmetics industry. As the only enterprise invited to deliver a speech on its research results of skin whitening at this forum, PROYA has drawn great attention from the industry for its exchange with international skincare giants and global leading raw material suppliers.
